Inspiration is taken from images helping form, ergonomics, and family
Use and process of tool is studied in order to identify flaws with the current tools in the market. This is done alongside a brand comparison to see what can be improved overall for the current best tool.
TASK AND BRAND ANALYSIS
Various handle formations are sketched in order to see which one best fits brand language, with some formations using either one hand or both.
SKETCHING
MODELING
Low fidelity models are created from foam blocks to get a rough sense of ergonomics and family of form
3D MODELS
Physical models are then taken into consideration through Fusion360 Modeling, in order to move to the next step.
FINAL PHYSICAL MODEL
Higher density foam has been cut by a CNC machine based off of Fusion360 files. These cut pieces are all glued together, sprayed with primer, and sanded with a fine grit to a glossy finish.
